Methadone

In keeping with Best Practice research and recommendations, Humberwood Centre recognizes the potential benefits of methadone for some individuals with an opiate addiction and the importance of addictions treatment/counseling as part of a comprehensive methadone maintenance program.

Individuals on a methadone maintenance program are eligible for admission to the Humberwood Treatment Program providing they meet all other eligibility criteria.

Humberwood Centre does not issue prescriptions for methadone, store methadone on site, or dispense it.
