How to access Telehealth
How can I access Telehealth?
Ask your Health Care Provider if your appointment can be held through telehealth. If you feel telehealth is right for you and the service is available, then your Health Care Provider can arrange to have your appointment using telehealth.
Where can I have a telehealth appointment?
Western Health currently has 25 facilities that provide telehealth services.Your appointment will be booked by your provider at a facility in your community or at a facility closest to your community.
Your Health Care Provider will notify you of your telehealth appointment time and place.
When you arrive at the facility, proceed to registration and tell them you are there for a telehealth appointment. A staff person will direct you to the location in the building where you will connect with your provider by video. Your Telehealth (video) appointment will be much the same as you if you were face to face.
