First Link®…Your first step to living well with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. Have you been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or any form of dementia, or do you know and/or care for someone with this disease? The Alzheimer Society’s First Link program is here to help you! Our services increase your knowledge and understanding of dementia, helping you cope and plan for the future, while reducing stress, preventing crises and improving quality of life for both patient and caregiver.

First Link connects people to:

• A free 15 week Learning Series for caregivers, family members and those with Alzheimer’s disease; offering a comprehensive overview of dementia, coping strategies, resources and support systems.
• Support groups and opportunities for one-on-one support
• Additional community programs and services Contact the Alzheimer Society today and learn how we can help you deal with the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia.
