The Western Regional School of Nursing is owned and operated by Western Health. The School offers a four year Bachelor of Nursing Program in collaboration with Memorial University School of Nursing and the Centre for Nursing Studies. The School also offers a two year Fast Track Nursing Degree Option for students with degrees or advance placement status. The School has recently entered into a new agreement to offer years three and four of the BN Program to students in the Integrated Nursing Program for the Labrador Inuit.
The mission of the Western Regional School of Nursing is to prepare competent caring practitioners in nursing and to advance nursing knowledge and practice in order to promote the health of our population. In pursuit of this mission, we promote excellence in teaching and learning, research and nursing practice within an atmosphere of scholarship.
