Smoke Issue Resolved at Western Memorial Regional Hospital
Western Health is advising that the investigation of smoke at Western Memorial Regional Hospital is complete. The investigation determined that smoke was caused by a failure of the air handling unit and the issue has been resolved.
All scheduled outpatient appointments at Western Memorial Regional Hospital remain canceled for today, August 3. Individuals will be called to rebook appointments at a later date. The emergency department is still open.
Visitors are limited to one person for each patient.
