Pharmacy

The Department of Pharmacy is a clinical support service responsible for promoting health and the safe and appropriate use of drug therapy. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Department of Pharmacy utilizes pharmaceutical care and drug distribution services to provide excellence in the provision of patient care.

Our team members include pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who provide a wide range of services to inpatients, outpatients, residents in long-term care, students and health professionals.

Pharmacy services are provided regionally at three Western Health sites, Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital and Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre.

Saturday and Sunday, 8 am to 4 pm

A pharmacist from Western Memorial Regional Hospital is on call for the region after normal Pharmacy hours.
