Visitor Restrictions at Bay St. George Long Term Care

Feb 25, 2020

Please be advised that temporary visitor restrictions are in place throughout Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre. Each resident may have one designated visitor visit them.

The restrictions are in place to prevent the spread of influenza like illness. Visitor restrictions are a series of infection control measures put in place to reduce the risk of spreading infectious diseases which are common in health care facilities. They are designed to help keep clients, families, staff and visitors healthy and safe.

To prevent the spread of infection, we ask the public to wash your hands when you enter or leave any of Western Health’s facilities. Western Health would like to thank the public for their co-operation during this precautionary measure.
