New Telephone System at Calder Health Centre

Western Health would like to advise that effective Calder Health Centre will be implementing a new phone system today at Noon. The transfer to the new phone system will may result in a temporary delay reaching the health centre. In the event of an emergency during that time, please call 709-886-8010 to reach the health centre.  

The public is reminded that when calling Calder Health Centre, you will get the following message:
“You have reached Calder Health Centre. 
• For an emergency, please press 1 now;
•  If you require medical advice or health information, please hang up and call the    
  Newfoundland and Labrador Healthline at 1-888-709-2929;
•  If you know the 4 digit number of the person you are calling, enter it at  any time;    
•  For health records and appointments, press 3;
•  For the Outpatient Nurse, press 4;
•  For lab or x-ray, press 5;
•  For acute and long term care, press 6;
•  For administration, press  7;
•  For all other departments, press 0."
