Walk in COVID Testing Available in Corner Brook on December 23 and 24
Western Health is offering walk-in COVID-19 testing at the Corner Brook Civic Center Studio on December 23 and December 24 for anyone who is currently waiting for testing and has not already received an appointment.
This additional temporary site is being established to help meet the current testing demand. There is no appointment necessary for this walk-in testing site.
If you have completed an online self-assessment or called 811 to request a COVID test but have not yet been contacted to book an appointment you are able to go to walk-in site or wait to be contacted with an appointment.
Individuals should arrive at the testing site between 8:45 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 23 or Friday, December 22. You will be greeted at the entrance to the lower parking lot and asked to complete a registration form and provide a cell phone number. When the clinic is ready for you a nurse will contact you by cell phone to advise that you may enter the clinic for testing.
Individuals who require testing but are unable to attend the walk-in testing site will be contacted and offered an appointment at different time/location.
