Those who have pre-registered will be contacted by email and/or phone to set up their appointment. If you provided an email during your pre-registration, we ask that you regularly check your email for instructions about how to book your appointment.

If you are offered a vaccination appointment and not able to travel to the location offered, you may choose to wait until a clinic is available closer to your home. By the end of April, COVID-19 vaccination clinics will be held in all of the communities where the annual flu vaccination clinics are offered. A schedule for these communities will be available in the near future.

Individuals with any questions related to the COVID vaccine may call 1-833-703-5470. Messages left on the line will be answered within 24 hours or on the next business day.

While waiting for your opportunity for vaccination, and after vaccination, it is important for everyone to continue to follow public health guidance to protect yourself, your loved ones, and your communities including:

  • Wearing a mask in public
  • Washing your hands frequently
  • Respecting public health guidance on gatherings, travel and quarantine
  • Completing the online self-assessment at?www.811healthline.ca or calling 811 if you are experiencing one or more symptoms of COVID-19 to arrange testing.

Western Health will continue to communicate as additional vaccine information becomes available and more clinics are set up. For more information on COVID-19 vaccines, please visit Health Canada. For up-to-date information on the COVID-19 pandemic, please visit www.gov.nl.ca/covid-19.
