Enhanced Visitor Restrictions Update
Western Health is advising that due to COVID-19, visitation is limited to one essential visitor/consistent support person for each patient/resident, as deemed by the care team in consultation with the family, at the following locations:
- Western Memorial Regional Hospital-Units 3A, 3B and 3D (Medicine)
- Western Long Term Care Home-Shoreview, Still Waters, Nature's Haven and Valleyside
- Corner Brook Long Term Care Home-Partridgeberry Place
An essential visitor/support person is considered vital to a patient/resident’s physical care and mental well-being. Exceptions will be made for special circumstances, such as end of life care where families are asked to work with the health care team to make arrangements for visitation.
Western Health understands the impact these restrictions may have on families, patients, and residents.
