Resignation of Western Health’s President and CEO

Western Health is advising that its Board of Trustees has accepted the resignation of Cynthia Davis as President and Chief of Executive Officer.

 

Ms. Davis has been the CEO of Western Health since 2018 and with the organization since 2006.

Mr. Bryson Webb, Chair of the Board of Trustees said, “Cindy has been a strong leader at Western Health and we are very fortunate to have had her as CEO for the past two years. She has made great strides in working with our stakeholders to enhance engagement and successfully lead the organization through the most challenging period, during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Ms. Davis will continue to lead the organization through to the end of 2020 when she will transition to CEO at Lakeridge Health in Ontario. Webb said, “I have every confidence in the capabilities of Western Health’s staff and leadership to work through this transition period. We are incredibly grateful for Cindy’s vision that she has bestowed to our organization and region and wish her the best in her future endeavours.” The Board of Trustees will be engaged with the Independent Appointments Commission to recruit a new CEO for Western Health.
