Appointments for Blood Collection Services

Western Health is implementing an appointment based service for blood collection.

Individuals who require blood work for chemotherapy, transplant, and INR monitoring can call for an appointment. These individuals must provide the following information when booking appointments: name, MCP, telephone number, physician name. Patients will be screened for COVID-19. Appointments for outpatient emergency bloodwork will be arranged through physicians’ or nurse practitioners’ offices. Appointments can be made between Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the following locations: • Corner Brook, Deer Lake and surrounding area, 709-634-0679 • Bonne Bay Health Centre, 709 458-2211, ext. 200 • Calder Health Centre, 709 886-3350 ext. 4130 • Dr. Charles L.
