Upgrade to exterior envelope of 129 Montana Drive
The Provincial Government has made a commitment to upgrade the Exterior Envelope of 129 Montana Drive in Stephenville which houses the Bay St George Medical Clinic. The Department of Transportation and Works are overseeing this improvement project which begins on Wednesday, August 21, 2019.
The renovations include removal of the existing siding, windows, and doors and installation of new windows, doors, insulation and siding around the entire building.
As the exterior siding and portions of the interior walls contain asbestos, appropriate Asbestos Abatement Regulations will be strictly adhered to during their removal.
Barricades will be placed around the work area, and signage will reference Asbestos Abatement is occurring. As well appropriate personal protective devices will be used by workers which is normal procedures when completing Asbestos Abatement.
All work will be completed in accordance with all applicable legislation to ensure a safe and efficient environment for clients and staff. Western Health would like to thank the public for their co-operation during this time.
