Please be advised that temporary visitor restrictions are in place at Corner Brook Long Term Care - 2 North Gooseberry Lane. The visitor restrictions are in place due to a number of residents on the unit with influenza like illness.
Visitor restrictions are a series of infection control measures put in place to reduce the risk of spreading infectious diseases which are common in health care facilities this time of year. They are designed to help keep clients, families, staff and visitors healthy and safe.
Visitors can help reduce the spread of illness by:
• Cleaning your hands before entering the unit and after visiting your loved ones.
• Visiting only one resident.
• Not visiting if you are experiencing flu-like or gastrointestinal symptoms.
Immediate family members of residents at this facility should call 637-3999 extension 3921 for further direction about visitation.
