Western Health Launches Making Memories for Long Term Care
Western Health is announcing the launch of Making Memories for Long Term Care residents throughout the region. The Making Memories Project seeks to improve the lives of residents living in Western Health’s Long Term Care homes by granting them a special wish. Residents can be nominated to receive a special wish through the Regional Making Memories committee.
Nominations can be made by anyone, with consent of the resident, by family members, or Western Health staff/volunteers or residents themselves. The Regional Making Memories committee began receiving nominations in November and granting wishes in December.
The first resident to receive a wish was Mr. Alfred Bellows and his wife Mrs. Millie Bellows. The couple enjoyed a complimentary pedicure, provided by Vitality Hair, Salon and Laser Studio.
