The Western Regional Health Authority is currently seeking the services of a Pathologist for ongoing periodic locums at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador.

All pathology services are offered from Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook. The laboratory provides a ful range of services and handles approximately 9,500 surgical and 17,000 cytology specimens annually. In addition, there is a forensic and hospital autopsy service. 

Qualifications: Interested applicants must be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador, and satisfy the credentialing requirements of Western Health's Discipline of Pathology.

Hours of Work: Daily 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and call obligation as deemed necessary to the locum.

Remuneration: The Specialist Salary is $1188 per day for each day worked as outlined in the current Memorandum of Agreement. As determined by the Department of Health and Community Services in accordance with Provincial Guidelines.

Additional Information: Located in Corner Brook the Western Memorial Regional Hospital is the Regional Referral Center for the western region of Newfoundland.
