The Western Regional Health Authority is currently seeking the services of a General Adult Psychiatrist on an ongoing locum basis for Stephenville, Newfoundland.
Qualifications: Interested applicants must be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador, and satisfy credentialing requirements of Western Health.
Hours of Work: Daily 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and call obligation as deemed necessary to the locum.
Remuneration: $1188 per day as per the salaried Specialist guidelines outlined in the current Memorandum of Agreement as it pertains to locums. http://www.nlma.nl.ca/documents/guides/guide_4.pdf
Additional Information: The Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital is an acute care hospital on the beautiful West Coast of Newfoundland and is located approximately one hour away from the Regional Referral Centre in Corner Brook. Stephenville is a modern progressive community of approximately 8,000 people and includes such amenities as an airport, a modern shopping mall, recreation facilities, Arts and Culture Centre and a Community College. The Hospital itself serves a catchment population of approximately 25,000. We are located close to the sea and Stephenville is an ideal location for outdoor recreation.
