Western Health is seeking the services of a General Practitioner on a locum basis for the Bonne Bay Health Centre in Norris Point, NL. Duties include booked clinics, provision of out-patient and inpatient coverage along with provision of after hours/weekend on call on a regular basis with other General Practitioners in the community.
Qualifications: Interested applicants must be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador and satisfy the credentialing requirements of Western Health.
Remuneration: $689 per each weekday as per the General Practice Salary Scale outlined in the Memorandum of Agreement as it pertains to salaried locums. Physicians can expect to earn an additional $2,200 per week on average for after-hours emergency room coverage. Opportunities to provide extra Category B emergency room coverage exist and can result in significant extra income.
