Western Health is seeking the services of a salaried Family Physician who will be based at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre, Port Saunders and required to float within the northern region of Western Health. This position is established to assist in providing full scope Family Practice services at Rufus Guinchard Health Center, Bonne Bay Health Centre, Cow Head/Parsons Pond/Daniel’s Harbour Medical Clinics, and Trout River/Woody Point Medical Clinics.
Qualifications Required:
Duly registered Family Physician with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador (CPSNL) and satisfy the credentialing requirements of Western Health's Discipline of Family Practice.
Hours of Work: 80 hours biweekly plus on-call obligations
Remuneration: The General Practice Salary Scale ranges from $151,591.00 to $181,912.00 as outlined in the current Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). The Department of Health and Community Services in accordance with Provincial Guidelines will officially determine a Physician’s step assignment with yearly progression thereafter.
An annual Retention Bonus is offered in accordance with the current MOA. Additional benefits are available.
