Western Health is seeking the services of two (2) salaried Family Physicians at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre (DCLLHC), Port aux Basques, Newfoundland and Labrador.The successful applicants will provide Clinic coverage at the DCLLHC, ER coverage, or Outreach Clinic coverage from Monday to Friday divided equally between the salaried Family Physicians located at this site. After hours/weekend/stat holiday on-call assignment on an equitable basis with the Family Physicians serving the Community.
Qualifications Required:
Duly registered Family Physician with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador (CPSNL), have current ACLS certification and satisfy credentialing requirements of Western Health's Discipline of Family Practice. Experience working in an Emergency Room will be an asset.
Remuneration: The General Practice Salary Scale ranges from $151,591.00 to $181,912.00 as outlined in the current Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). The Department of Health and Community Services in accordance with Provincial Guidelines will officially determine a Physician's step assignment with yearly progression thereafter.
An annual Retention Bonus is offered in accordance with the current MOA. Additional benefits are available.
