REQUIRED: Transfusion Safety Officer (Laboratory Technologist II)
Permanent
HOURS OF WORK: 0800-1600 Hours
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: The completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology Program. Current and continued registration with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) as a Medical Laboratory Technologist. Extensive Laboratory experience: minimum of four (4) years out of the last five (5) years in Transfusion Medicine. The ability to demonstrate an acceptable level of knowledge in Transfusion Medicine in order to function in a leadership capacity is also required. Certificate in Quality Systems or commitment to complete approved program in a specified time frame is required.
Applicants will be required to participate in an interview and must demonstrate an acceptable level of knowledge in Transfusion Medicine as well as the ability to demonstrate good leadership skills.
SALARY SCALE: $51,487.80 to $65,119.60 per Annum.
