Western Health would like to advise the general public that due to a water break in the town of Port aux Basques and limited water supply to the LeGrow Health Centre, all outpatients procedures at the Centre for the morning of Tuesday, January 20th, 2009 have been cancelled.
Western Health would like to advise the general public that due to a water break in the town of Port aux Basques and limited water supply to the LeGrow Health Centre, all outpatients procedures at the Centre for the morning of Tuesday, January 20th, 2009 have been cancelled.
Effective immediately, visitation to the facility will also be restricted. Visitation guidelines have been established for special circumstances including situations involving patients receiving palliative care. In these situations, visitation will be permitted at the discretion of nursing administration and family members are encouraged to call the Health Centre prior to visiting.
Western Health will update the general public by noon tomorrow regarding the status of outpatients procedures and visitation.
