Western Health is advising that due to the possibility of a postal disruption, contingency plans have been put in place for Western Health clients, service providers, bookkeepers and other client payees who normally receive payments from Western Health through the mail system.

Effective immediately, clients are asked to pick up their cheques at the Western Health office closest to you. A site listing is available below. In order to pick up your cheque, you will be required to show a valid photo identification or two forms of identification, one of which must have a signature. Clients will also be required to sign for the cheque being picked up.

If you have concerns about accessing a distribution site, please contact your local Western Health office to make alternate arrangements. Alternatively, clients can also call the Regional Finance Department of Western Health.

Please check the Western Health website at www.westernhealth.nl.ca for updates related to cheque distribution. Please note that these arrangements apply to client payments and payments on behalf of clients only. Suppliers are asked to contact the Finance Department at Western Health during the postal disruption.
