Visitor Restrictions Lifted at Corner Brook Long Term Care Home
Feb 5, 2016
Please be advised that visitor restrictions are lifted on Raspberry Road at Corner Brook Long Term Care Home. The visitor restrictions were put in place due to the number of residents with gastrointestinal illness.
To prevent the spread of infection, we ask the public to wash your hands when you enter or leave any of Western Health's facilities. As well, Western Health recommends that if you are experiencing symptoms like vomiting and/or diarrhea, you should refrain from visiting any of our facilities until at least 48 hours after your last symptoms.
To prevent the spread of contagious illnesses, Western Health recommends staying at home if you are unwell, avoid preparing food for others and thorough cleaning where people have been sick.
Western Health would like to thank the public for their co-operation during these temporary visitor restrictions.
