Visitor Precautions at Long Term Care Unit - Bonne Bay Health Centre

Apr 9, 2015

Please be advised that temporary visitor precautions are in place for the Long Term Care Unit at Bonne Bay Health Centre. The visitor precautions are in place due to a number of residents with influenza like illness.

During these visitor precautions:

• Visitation is limited to one immediate family member.
• Children under 14 are not permitted to visit.
• Immediate family members of residents should call 458-2201, Ext.505 for further direction about visitation.

Visitation precautions are a series of infection control measures put in place to reduce the risk of spreading infectious disease. They are designed to help keep residents, families, staff and visitors healthy and safe.

Western Health would like to thank the public for their co-operation during these temporary visitor precautions.
