Western Health and The Suicide Prevention and Awareness Committee of the Community Mental Health Initiative are bringing people together for a Suicide Prevention Partnership Meeting today.

Community stakeholders in seven communities throughout the region will be connected via virtual conferencing to learn from each other and enhance collaboration in their suicide prevention and awareness efforts. Suicide can be challenging to talk about openly and it is hoped that through this meeting, participants will be able to learn from each other and bring back resources to their communities. The meeting will include presentations on best practice, successful projects and local resources, as well as discussion and action planning at the local and regional levels.
