Western Health to Partner on a Snowmobile Safety Day

(Corner Brook, NL- February 3, 2012) Western Health is pleased to partner with the Northwest Trackers Snowmobile Club for an event taking place on Sunday, The Winter Forum – Snowmobile Safety Day.
The event will be held at the Recreation Centre in Port Saunders and starts at 10 a.m. From 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Western Health Mental Health and Addictions Services and the RCMP will host an interactive session with participants about safety on the snowmobile trails. Other topics to be covered during the day are ice and trail safety, safety around hydro lines, and necessary supplies for snowmobiling. In the afternoon, participants will move outside for snowmobile inspections, and an obstacle course.
