Renovations Begin at Lourdes Medical Clinic; Medical Services Moved to Adjacent Building - May 25, 2011

Western Health would like to advise members of the general public that effective Thursday, May 26th, 2011, services at the Lourdes Medical Clinic will be provided at the physician’s house adjacent to the medical clinic.

(Corner Brook, NL, May 25th, 2011) Western Health would like to advise members of the general public that effective Thursday, May 26th, 2011, services at the Lourdes Medical Clinic will be provided at the physician’s house adjacent to the medical clinic.  The move is necessary to accommodate renovations at the medical clinic and should not affect any regularly scheduled appointments or clinic times. 

The Lourdes Medical Clinic will undergo extensive renovations including a small extension, exterior siding and windows, interior finishes and upgrades to enable wheelchair accessibility.  The renovations are anticipated to take approximately 12 weeks and conclude around mid to late August. 

The Provincial Government has invested $250,000 to complete this project.

Western Health would like to ask for the public’s co-operation as we renovate the medical clinic and apologize for any inconvenience during this period.
