Western Health would like to advise the public that the Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques will be undergoing renovations beginning today. Renovations are being completed in two areas of the facility; the Registration area and the new Renal Dialysis Unit.
Effective Monday, February 28th, 2011, the main entrance to the facility will be temporarily closed. From Monday – Friday, 730 am – 430 pm, an alternate entrance will be available to the left of the main entrance for patients to enter the facility. Patients may also enter the facility through the Emergency Room entrance. Daily 4:30 PM to 7:00 AM and on weekends, the emergency entrance will be the only entrance available.
The Gift Shop will be closed for a short period of time during the renovations.
Western Health would also like to remind the public that Visitation Hours are always in place at its facilities. Visitation hours at LeGrow Health Centre allow for a maximum of two visitors per room from 11 am – 9 pm daily. Visitation hours will be strictly enforced during the renovation period.
Western Health would like to apologize for any inconvenience to its patients as we work to improve the LeGrow Health Centre.
