Visitation Limited at Corner Brook Long Term Care Home
November 21, 2010, For immediate release (Corner Brook, NL) Western Health is asking visitors to the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home to limit their visitation today. The City of Corner Brook is experiencing a temporary water break on University Drive. The break has resulted in the water being shut off at the home.
Western Health would ask for the public’s assistance by limiting visitation to the home. Visitors are still welcome to visits but we ask that the visits be shortened due to lack of washrooms for public use.
We are working with staff from the City of Corner Brook and the Corner Brook Fire Department to develop an alternate plan for water to the home should the break continue for longer than anticipated. Repairs to the break are expected to be fixed by later this afternoon.
