Pastoral caregivers provide comfort and reassurance to patients and their families when it is needed,” says Dr. Susan Gillam, CEO of Western Health. “We take time this week to acknowledge their work and offer our appreciation for their specialized care.”
The Pastoral Care Allied Health Group and Newfoundland and Labrador Health Boards Association held their annual conference in Corner Brook earlier this month. The theme of conference and this recognition week is “Healing Presence.”
Pastoral care lanyards were presented to Dr. Gilliam and Rob Kenny, VP Human Resources and Organizational Development to wear in recognition of the week.
