Public Tours Offered of the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility - Jun 11, 2010

Western Health will be offering public tours for anyone interested in viewing the new Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility. The tours will take place on Tuesday, June 15th. The building was officially opened by Premier Danny Williams, Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board, Tom Marshall and Minister of Health and Community Services, Jerome Kenney along with CEO Dr. Susan Gillam and City of Corner Brook Mayor Neville Greeley at a ribbon cutting ceremony earlier today.
“We recognize that there is significant interest in viewing this beautiful state of the art facility”, said Kelli O’Brien, Chief Operating Officer with Rural Health and Long Term Care. “We are happy to be able to offer this opportunity to interested people before our residents move in.”

Over the past several days, tours have been offered to family members of residents who will be moving into the facility later this month.

The tours will be offered on Tuesday, June 15th, 2010 from 1 – 7 pm. Those who are interested in participating are asked to call Caroline at 709-637-5000 extension 6540 to register.
