Please be advised that visitation restrictions have been lifted at Charles LeGrow Health Centre, Port aux Basques. Visitation restrictions were put in place due to an outbreak of a stomach flu-like illness which included vomiting and diarrhea.
Please be advised that visitation restrictions have been lifted at Charles LeGrow Health Centre, Port aux Basques. Visitation restrictions were put in place due to an outbreak of a stomach flu-like illness which included vomiting and diarrhea.

Western Health would like to thank the public for their co-operation during this temporary visitation ban.

People who have had vomiting and diarrhea or other flu like symptoms are asked to refrain from visiting any of Western Health’s facilities. Individuals with any of these symptoms should rest at home, drink fluids, practice proper hand washing with hot water and soap, and if the symptoms persist contact their physician.

A visitation ban continues to be in place at Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre and Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook.  

Western Health would like to thank the public for their cooperation in helping prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
