New X-Ray Equipment Installation at Calder Health Centre Delayed - 26/02/2010

Western Health would like to advise that the scheduled X-ray equipment installation for Calder Health Centre in Burgeo will be delayed due to an unforeseen supplier issue. The X-ray equipment supplier experienced a delay in the delivery of some required materials and is unable to meet the original installation schedule.
Western Health would like to advise that the scheduled X-ray equipment installation for Calder Health Centre in Burgeo will be delayed due to an unforeseen supplier issue. The X-ray equipment supplier experienced a delay in the delivery of some required materials and is unable to meet the original installation schedule.

Revised Installation Schedule is as follows:

March 8-12: New X-ray Equipment Delivery and Installation
March 16: New X-ray Equipment in Service

While the new equipment is being installed, individuals requiring X-ray services or pre-admission for surgery are asked to travel to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville. Western Health would like to ask for the public’s co-operation as we move toward improving the X-ray services to the people of Burgeo, and surrounding communities.
