• For the following clinics scheduled December 7^th – 11^th, 2009, H1N1 vaccination is open to members of the public who have not yet received their vaccine including school age children who were absent from school during the school based immunization clinics.   
•  Western Health would like to advise that this is the last week of mass immunization clinics in our region.  After December 11^th, the H1N1 vaccine will be accessible by calling your local community health office. Please be advised that after December 11^th the vaccine will only be available on a limited basis through scheduled appointments.  Western Health encourages all residents who have not yet received their vaccine to access one of the clinics scheduled below.   

• Immunizations for children between the ages of 6 months and 3 years of age who require a second H1N1 vaccination should have their appointment booked and those vaccinations should be completed by the end of this week where possible. 
• As well, parents of children between the ages of 3 years and 9 years who have a chronic condition (such as asthma) and require a second H1N1 vaccination should have their appointments booked for the second dose.  If you have not already called for this appointment, parents are asked to contact their local community health office as soon as possible.    
• Pregnant women who have not yet received their vaccine are asked to contact their local community health office.
